For the past three summers we have been very successful with our summer camps. Each day includes a lesson in horsemanship, a full riding lesson, “classroom activity” during lunch, and a horse-related game or craft. To beat the heat we have a small swimming pool. We try to group the campers by age and ability to supply age appropriate activities.
Beginner / Intermediate Group
- Session 1: June 9 - 13
- Session 5: Aug 18 - 22
Each day includes 1 hour riding lesson, tacking and untacking horses, bathing horses, lessons in horse care, equipment care, etc, and a horse-related activity or craft.
Advanced, and Ages 10 & up
- Session 3: July 22 - 26
Preparation for San Jacinto Horse Show Association horse show on July 27th. Fees to enter horse show are additional.
- Session 4: August 4 - 8
Ages 10 and up. More advanced level work for riders with some experience. Field trip may be included. Friday night BBQ and sleepover.
Special Younger Rider Session
Must have completed Kindergarten.
- Session 2: June 30 - July 3
Four days of age appropriate riding lessons and activities for the younger set.
Each day begins promptly at 8AM and ends at 2PM. Please arrive dressed to ride.
All sessions please bring a lunch, sunscreen, a change of clothes (from ‘riding’ to ‘summer clothes’), and plenty of drinking water!
$300.00 per session.
$50.00 deposit at time of registration due by June 1st.
Balance due on or before 1st day of camp.
